How Processing Parameters Affect Part Quality – SPE Carolina Section
When plastic parts are injection molded, the processor’s job is to maintain the natural attributes of the selected polymer and associated fillers, while producing high-quality parts at a profit. This can be easier said than done because plastics are subjected to high temperatures, pressures, and shear rates during the injection molding process.
